The terms for using ecoglo.co.uk and for sending us listings and updates.
Using the site
- EcoGlo is a free guide and directory for general information. It is not financial, legal or technical advice, and the savings estimator gives a rough estimate only.
- We work hard to keep guides and listings accurate, but prices, rules, schemes and companies change. Before you sign, get several written quotes, check the installer’s current certification yourself, and read the contract and warranties.
- We are not responsible for the work installers do. Any agreement is between you and the installer.
- Certifications marked “verified” were found on the scheme’s own list on the date shown. Anything marked “company says” is the installer’s own statement.
Listings
- Listings are free. We decide which companies to list, and we may edit, decline, hide or remove a listing — for example if a company has closed, doesn’t fit the directory, or we can’t confirm its details.
- Listings are ordered only by the visitor’s choice (distance, name or most details verified). We don’t sell higher positions.
- By sending us information about a company, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that we may publish it (company details only — never your own contact details).
Links to other websites
We link to installers’ websites, official sources and Amazon. We aren’t responsible for their content. Amazon links are affiliate links (as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases); any other affiliate link is marked “Ad”. None of them affects the order of listings.
Liability
We provide the site “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from using it or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
